My Las Olas ...

What does Las Olas mean to you? Tell us your fond memories of Las Olas or let us know your story. Do you live near the Boulevard? Or maybe you work on Las Olas? Did you spend a holiday here?

Tell us your what you think!

Please email us and tell us about your own Las Olas experience!

When I was a teenager, I lived in Wilton Manors and my best friend lived off Las Olas between the beach and the Intracoastal. I would ride my 10-speed to her house often. It was always a long, hot bike ride until I came to Las Olas. From that point on, I entered a new and beautiful world of possibilities. Whenever I return for a visit, I still get that same feeling. Thanks Las Olas for giving a girl a place to dream.

Debbie Burnham, Rochester, NY

Las Olas Boulevard is one of the most elegant and charming streets we have ever experienced. Looking forward to coming back for another visit soon!

Wow! What an array of fabulous shops!
Becky, Hollywood, FL.

I have lived in Miami for 8 years and never ventured to Las Olas until recently. I'll be coming back again and again. Great place to go and only 35 minutes from my home.
Eduardo, Miami, FL.

We visit our son in Fort Lauderdale twice a year and we make sure that Las Olas is part of our itinerary every time.
Anthony & Joyce, Mitchellville, Maryland

I always tell my friends that Las Olas is the best place to go and meet great single men and women. It has so much more sophistication than those other "party" places.
Alexandria, Tamarac, FL.

I have heard Las Olas Boulevard referred to as the "Gem" of Fort Lauderdale. It's the whole "Crown" if you ask me.
Bruce, Fort Lauderdale, FL

Don't be too hungry when you go to Las Olas Boulevard. It's challenging enough to decide on which great restaurants to visit!
Eric, Wilton Manors, FL

Just got home from a great trip to Fort Lauderdale. Loved Las Olas! Already checking the calendar to see when we can come back.
Ernesto & Claudia, Chicago, IL.

You don't find anything like this on the cold streets of South London. Thanks for a great and sunny holiday on Las Olas. Loved it from downtown to the beach. We'll be back here next winter!
James & Holly Edwards, London, United Kingdom

Las Olas Boulevard has always been Fort Lauderdale’s most charming thoroughfare.
Las Olas is at the forefront of everything from fashion boutiques and art galleries,
to memorable restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars.

Running almost parallel to Fort Lauderdale’s New River on its way to the Atlantic Ocean,
Las Olas is a broad avenue divided by a wide landscaped median of flowers and towering shade trees.
Over the canal at the east end of the tree lined median, in the Colee Hammock locale,
are more shops, restaurants, and stores too unique to describe all worth exploring!
Las Olas is within walking distance of the beach, where Las Olas meets the ocean.

A few minutes from most hotels and easily accessible by water taxi or land taxi,
Las Olas is a lively, pulsating, world class boulevard. Night or day, Las Olas is the place to be.

Special offers and events, where to stay, where to eat - your guide to Las Olas Blvd, the heart of Fort Lauderdale.
(often misspelled as Los Olas, Las Olas means 'The Waves')
