CLUELESS ON LAS OLAS
V for Vengeance
Date:
February 2009
Cirque de la Mort is the theme of this year’s ClueLess on Las Olas, the much
anticipated annual fundraiser for Partners In Education, Inc. More than 600
amateur sleuths from around South Florida will be on Las Olas Boulevard on
Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 7 p.m to solve the unique murder mystery game.

OLD WEBSITE. PLEASE CLICK THIS LINK TO GET TO OUR CURRENT SITE. THANK YOU!
Patterned after the board game Clue, ClueLess on Las Olas participants read
an original mystery and then solve seven one-of-a-kind clues to determine
which of the six suspects committed the murder and where: either where the
murder was committed or where the murder weapon was found.
On-site registration runs from 5:30 – 7 p.m. at S.E. 9th Avenue and Las Olas
Boulevard across the street from Mangos. After check-in, participants enter
the street party where they read the mystery and enjoy refreshments. At 7
p.m. sharp, Detective Ima Duhman asks the crowd to help solve the murder and
introduces the six suspects. Then, everyone takes off to shops and
restaurants on Las Olas to retrieve the clues. Snitches are on the street to
sell hints for $1 while the suspects generally provide misdirection.
Everyone returns to the street party by 9 p.m. to hear the final clue and
accuse a suspect. Prizes are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The
Grand Prize is a Florida Panthers Suite for twenty during the 2009/2010
season at the BankAtlantic Center.
The silent auction runs from 6 to 8 p.m. with items from shops on Las Olas,
Southwest Airlines tickets, Muvico Theater tickets, signed sports
memorabilia, dinner packages and hotel stays. Participants also enjoy a
raffle, appetizer and dessert buffets, music and a bar.
Advance registration is $35 per person or four tickets for $105. On-site
registration is $40 per person with no discount for multiple tickets. Credit
cards are accepted and Web site registration will open on March 2, 2009 at
Broward Partners.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are still available. The presenting
sponsor is Wheelabrator Technologies, Inc. Other sponsors include Vista
Healthplans, Comcast, The Miami Herald, 93.9 MIA Radio, Humana, All County
Music, Bank of America, BrightStar Credit Union, Citibank, Mangos
Restaurant, Memorial Healthcare Systems, Nova Southeastern University, Pepsi

Proceeds from ClueLess on Las Olas benefit Partners In Education, Inc., a

partnerships with business and community organizations in Broward County.
