Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and favorite movie date every final Friday, June – August for Movies by Moonlight “Dog Days of Summer” Series on the Main Lawn at Las Olas Oceanside Park. Come early to DINE at one of the local area restaurants, SHOP our People and Pet Vendors or bring a picnic for a Dinner & A Movie experience under the stars.

FRIDAY, JUNE 30

  • Film: Hotel for Dogs, Rated PG
  • Showtime: 8:15 pm; 1 hour, 40 minutes
  • Synopsis: After moving into a foster home that forbids pets, siblings Andi (Emma Roberts) and Bruce (Jake T. Austin) must quickly find a home for their dog, Friday. The resourceful pair find an abandoned hotel, and with the help of Bruce’s mechanical skills, turn it into a pooch paradise for Friday and a number of strays. But when the inevitable barking makes neighbors suspicious, Andi and Bruce must find a way to hide their canine haven from prying eyes.

  • Synopsis: The true life story of Megan Leavey, a young Marine corporal whose unique discipline and bond with a military combat dog saved many lives during her deployment in Iraq. Assigned to clean up the K-9 unit after a disciplinary hearing, Leavey starts to identify with Rex, a particularly aggressive dog that she trains. Over the course of their service, Megan and Rex complete more than 100 missions until an improvised explosive device injures both, putting their fates in jeopardy.

  • Film: The Art of Racing in the Rain, Rated PG
  • Showtime: 8:00 pm; Run Time: 1 hour 49 minutes
  • Synopsis: Denny Swift is a Formula One race car driver who understands that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate everyday life. Besides his career, Denny has three loves of his life — his beautiful wife, their young daughter, and his best friend, which is a dog that wants to be reincarnated into a human.

  • All Pets MUST be leashed and remain with their human at all time. Please bring pet waste bags.
  • Please be respectful of your neighbors’ movie-watching experience. If you are there to socialize and not watch the movie, please do so outside of the viewing area.
