Fort Lauderdale, FLA. (January 25, 2016) – Las Olas Capital Advisors will be facilitating the launch of Las Olas Capital Arts, a new philanthropy initiative. The initiative will be hosted in the Las Olas Capital Advisors office. It will be an ongoing effort, with each artist having a three month long showcase in the Fort Lauderdale office. Las Olas Capital Advisors feels passionately about this cause in order to build an ecosystem in which artists can be successful and help our local economy.
Las Olas Capital Arts will be one of the principal philanthropic missions of Las Olas Capital Advisors. The mission is to support and promote local artists by providing a venue to showcase their work. Each chosen artist will have artwork exhibited in the LOC office for a duration of three months.
Las Olas Capital Arts will be curated by Jodi Jeffreys-Tanner. Jodi is extremely active in many philanthropic initiatives of Fort Lauderdale including: Broward Cultural Board and St. Thomas Aquinas. Jodi has previously been part of North Broward Hospital District Community Relations Council, The City of Fort Lauderdale American Assembly, and the City of Wilton Manors Zoning Board. Jodi is an active member of Rio Vista Community Church. She enjoys cooking and attending sporting and cultural events with her husband, Paul Tanner, Managing Director of Las Olas Capital Advisors, and son Jerrod, a current Junior at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
