Liora has been an artist her entire life and attended Parsons School of Design in New York. Liora teaches creative watercolor and painting at Artserve. She was the leading teacher at Creative Connections from September 2011 through February 2012 in partnership with the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood; working with at risk youth in collaboration with several local nonprofit organizations.
Liora’s beautiful work is in the collections of The Smithsonian Museum, the Virginia Beach Center for Contemporary Art, The Art of Living Foundation, and Northern Trust Bank.
Liora has been commissioned by several Fine Arts Fairs, The Stranahan House and the Bonnet House in Fort Lauderdale, to name a few.
Liora commits much of her time to helping, saving, and protecting elephants that are constantly under the threat of poaching. A large portion of the proceeds from her paintings of elephants go to The Elephant Listening Project at Cornell University as well The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and other organizations committed to protecting elephants.
