Downtown Jewish Women’s Connection – the very active and forward thinking Ladies Committee of the Downtown Jewish Center Chabad(DJCC) – is hosting their 12th Annual Ladies Luncheon on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 10:00am at the Museum of Art on Las Olas Boulevard.
The Annual Luncheon will feature auction, prizes & gifts and a delicious brunch & cocktails. The highlight of the event will be a Talk Show with Fabologist Adi Heyman and a fashion show ‘n tell of her very own modest ‘Fashion Week’ outfits.
This is the 12th Annual Luncheon for DJCC Women’s Connection. Each year they choose a topic and or speaker that empowers and emboldens Jewish women to feel proud of their Judaism and inner strengths! This year’s featured guest is a true example of beauty ‘not only skin deep’;
In addition to wife and mother, New Yorker Adi Heyman is a Journalist and Fashion Blogger best known for Fabologie, a Jewish-minded and modesty-focused style site she founded in 2010.
In 2014, Heyman was profiled by The New York Times highlighting her conversion to Orthodox Judaism and her conservative influence on the fashion industry. Since then she has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, WWD, Peoples Stylewatch plus numerous fashion magazines and dot-coms for her statement, modest style. Heyman was hailed one of Stylecaster’s “Most Stylish New Yorkers 2015” and in 2016, she was profiled as a strong female entrepreneur by IvankaTrump.com.
A supporter of Jewish charities and the State of Israel, Heyman works with Small Wonders, Hadassah Organization, The Jewish Museum and is involved in the first AIPAC Fashion Initiative founded in New York.
In addition to her own website, Heyman is currently writing for IvankaTrump.com, profiling other powerhouse women around the globe for Ivanka Trump’s “Women Who Work” initiative.
