The Las Olas Association announced that they have re-imagined their traditional annual Christmas celebration this year in response to the public safety needs required by the Covid-19 pandemic. The popular holiday celebration, Christmas on Las Olas, will become “The 12 Days of Christmas on Las Olas” this year instead of the one-night celebration and boulevard closure that has always been the hallmark of Christmas on Las Olas.
The Las Olas Association is planning for “The 12 Days of Christmas on Las Olas” event in a manner that will encourage social distancing and more safely attract and entertain smaller crowds over a 12-day period with fun and exciting traditional holiday fare. The association will be highlighting the businesses and promoting the boulevard. Erika Del Rio, the Executive Director of the Las Olas Association said, “This is going to be a great event that will start off our Holiday season in an exciting and safe way”. The events are scheduled to start on December 1st and will go through to the 12th.
A nightly festive light show, presented by The Las Olas Company and sponsored by American Social, on the boulevard starting at 6:30 pm will be a wow factor, along with Pop-Up Santa Sightings, merchant specials, live entertainment, Letters to Santa’ mailbox, Elf Hunt with prizes, window decorating contests, music, silent auction and more. “I am so excited to share the Christmas Spirit with every one and this is so needed to bring smiles to everyone in our community” says Jodi Tanner, Vice President of the Las Olas Association.

The Elf Hunt Instructions
Visit “The Riverside Hotel” #620 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
Go to the Las Olas Blvd entrance and in the hallway, you will find the 12 days of Christmas, Elf Hunt Board
Approach the board, and lift the current Art drawing of that day, that will reveal the clue
Read the clue (take a photo of the clue)
The clue will lead you to the location where the Elf is hidden
Go search for the Elf (on Las Olas Boulevard businesses between 6th Ave and 15th Ave)
When you arrive to the location (where you think the Elf is located) ask the person in the front of the house “If the Elf is there?”
If you find the “Elf” TAKE HIM !!!
Take a photo and tag @lasolasblvd and the current location where you found the Elf
Take the Elf back to “The Riverside Hotel” #620 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
Turn in your Elf to the front desk (lobby) at “The Riverside Hotel” and show your tag photo – to collect your AWESOME bag of prizes from various Las Olas Blvd businesses value at over $150 dollars per night, AND take a photo with your prize bag & tag @lasolablvd (“U”will become Famous!)
