Put on your Derby best for a fun-filled celebration of the 150th Kentucky Derby on Saturday, May 4th. If you’re not able to make it to Churchill Downs, enjoy the next best thing as FLIFF (Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival) hosts a fun-filled Derby day with live entertainment, BBQ buffet and open bar – with mint juleps, of course. The festivities begin at 4 pm at Savor Cinema in Fort Lauderdale.
The race will be projected on the theater’s 30-foot, high definition screen, prizes will be awarded for the most creative Derby hats, bonnets and outfits, and there is also a 50/50 raffle where guests can pick the horses they think will win, place or show.
