LOY Flight School: An Arm Balance Workshop

Loading Events

Do you find yourself struggling with arm balances when offered in class? Do you struggle with strain in your wrists? Do you feel like you lack the strength to get up in the air? Do you experience fear preventing you from getting your feet off of the ground? If you answered yes to any of these questions, join Amanda for an Arm Balance workshop this October. This workshop will focus on proper alignment and foundational principles of arm balances that will address and alleviate these blockages that tend to keep us from flying.

Some of the poses we’ll be working include

  • Crow Pose
  • Side Crow
  • Flying Pigeon
  • Peacock Pose
  • Firefly Pose
  • Chin Stand
  • Forearm Stand

You do not have to have any experience with arm balances in order to participate. We will build from the ground up and everyone will have the chance to fly at their own pace and level of comfort. You will learn the tools necessary to continue to grow and strengthen your arm balance practice. Carve out some time to play and challenge yourself with a lighthearted approach creating balance on and off of your Yoga mat.
