The Historic Stranahan House Museum is the place where Fort Lauderdale began. The house was built in 1901 by Frank & Ivy Stranahan and now serves the community by offering guided and self-guided tours and sharing stories of the birth of the city. The museum also hosts field trips, private tours, venue rentals, themed events, happy hours, and craft fairs.
